Boston, MA Scrabble® Club #59

Special Notices

A "temporary" meeting place is now being used for this club as of December, 2008, and here are the details provided by director Mike Cohen...

"The Boston Scrabble® Club meets at 95 Washington St., Brighton, near the intersection with Commonwealth Ave. This is the building in which club player Judi Rodger lives. It is far from an ideal venue. Parking is on the street. There is visitor parking several blocks away on Washington St. near St. Elizabeth's Hospital. To gain entry, one must tap on the window of the community room near the front entrance. We meet in that room on Mondays from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. No refreshments are provided, so bring your own. At least there's no fee. This venue is only a stopgap solution until we find a more suitable, permanent site."

Do not park in the nearby Whole Foods lot (nor in the bank lot) after their closing time; you are likely to be towed.

Please let Mike Wolfberg know (at wolfberg@alum.mit.edu) if you want to be on (or off) this club's e-mail notification list, which is used primarily for last-minute cancellations.

Here are several topics which are covered in detail:
