As this club starts up in early 2009, it is seeking players at any level of expertise, from novice to experienced, who are interested in playing competitive Scrabble®. Guidance will be available to those who would like some.
This club meets every Monday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. (as of 5-Jan-09) at Sonny's Main Street Restaurant, in lovely downtown Henniker, right on the river. Barbara, or Mrs. Sonny, is excited to welcome us, and has even offered to cook special requests for those who have a preference. Director Kath Mullholand asks that you "give her a shout if you're interested"; if it turns out there are players interested in the area and we can find something more central, she will work to do that. Look below for her contact info.
Until the club is established, equipment for playing could be needed at any time. Current Scrabble® club members are requested to bring extra clocks; Kath will be bringing extra boards and tiles.
Each session consists of about 3-5 games. Players are welcome to attend for any part of a session. There is currently no fee to attend this club. The club provides score sheets for those who need them.
As of the club's beginning, it is using a proven system to issue weekly reports. This is the same system which has been used since September, 2007 in the Exeter Scrabble® Club and for many years in the Lexington Scrabble® Club. You can read about the details of this system here.

This club is included on this web site since it is within range of the Boston, MA metropolitan area. This is one of the only five active clubs of which I am aware in the state of New Hampshire. The others are the Exeter Club #587, the Epping Club, and these two clubs which meet in Manchester: Club #331 and Club #510.
