This club meets every Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 or 9:30 p.m. or later at the home of director Ed Liebfried at 19 Cricket Hill Rd., East Kingston, NH 03827. The venue is not handicap accessible. A cat also lives there, just in case you have an allergy.
PLEASE CONTACT DIRECTOR ED LIEBFRIED IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND, JUST TO CONFIRM THAT THE SESSION WILL TAKE PLACE. Cancellation is only occasional.
All skill levels are invited and the group generally is a mix of new players, intermediates and experts. Pairings may be random or based on skill level.
Games are one-on-one, tournament style, using the NWL23 (North American) lexicon. New players are allowed free challenges and can reference the list of 2- and 3-letter words in their first few visits, and no overtime penalties are assessed as they learn to manage the timer.
A weekly email is sent (usually Fridays) to confirm that the next week's session is a "go" and to report highlights from the preceding session.
Club sessions recently have about 10 players.
